CELEBRATE WITH SFUSD: 4/1/17 - 4/30/17
This April, the SFUSD Sustainability Office will be launching its first Earth Month Competition! The goal of the competition is to encourage SFUSD students, staff, and parents to engage with sustainability resources available in the community.
  • Participating schools will learn about ways to reduce their environmental footprints through water conservation, energy reduction, waste prevention, sustainable transportation, and eco-literacy.
  • Winning schools will receive a cash prize of $700!

SIGN UP

March 1 - March 31

All staff members interested should sign up to receive updates. At least one staff member must sign up by March 31st to officially enroll your school. 

Sorry- sign ups are closed, but you can still add your email to the list to get updates.

During April, schools can earn points by participating in green events, assemblies, and other activities.

COMPETE

April1 - April 30

Check the leaderboard throughout the month of April to see where your school stands against other schools in your Supervisorial district. The school with the most points in each district wins.

Announcement in May
The SFUSD Sustainability Office Earth Month Competition is open to K-12 schools in the San Francisco Unified School District. Schools compete against other schools in their Supervisorial district by participating in green activities and the Sustainability Office awards points for activities completed. The school in each Supervisorial district with the most points wins a cash prize of $700!
